Guardian's Disclosure under the California Transparency in Supply Chain Act of 2010
We’re helping some of the most recognized buildings in the world go green with our SunGuard Advanced Architectural Glass. From the Hearst Building in New York City to the Burj Khalifa in the Middle East, Guardian’s complete line of high performance coated glass provides both aesthetic beauty and energy efficiency for commercial structures of all types. SunGuard coatings can be used to reduce heating and cooling costs and are a key element in obtaining LEED certification.
Guardian’s Residential Glass – The ClimaGuard Series – can block infrared heat to significantly lower energy costs and block UV-rays to protect home furnishings from fading. Guardian’s ClimaGuard SPF is the first window glass technology that protects your home from excessive solar heat gain and damaging UV rays while maximizing natural daylight and thermal insulation. With ClimaGuard you can have it all – energy savings, natural daylight and UV protection!
Guardian manufactures a complete line of fiberglass insulation products that reduce air infiltration, improve R-values and provide excellent sound control. Guardian’s range of offerings – from FattBatt, the industry’s highest R-value batt available today, to the Perfect Fill system, Guardian’s premium loose-fill fiberglass insulation combined with a heavy-duty, spun bond netting for a more consistent R-value floor to ceiling – enables you to choose the insulation system that best fits your needs. Save on your utility bill, create a comfortable home environment and increase the resale value of your home – all with Guardian Fiberglass Insulation products.
Guardian’s automotive infrared reflective glass (SilverGuard IRR) reduces the amount of sunlight and heat that penetrates a vehicle’s windshield by 23% compared to a more conventionally tinted windshield. The reduction in heat penetration enables auto manufacturers to reduce the size and energy draw of air conditioning systems. This, in turn, leads to an overall weight savings, as well as a reduction in fuel consumption and pollutants.
Guardian manufactures a comprehensive solar energy glass product line that includes glass, mirrors and coating for solar energy applications. Guardian’s EcoGuard® Glass provides superior performance for solar energy systems.
