Reduce thermal load, increase privacy and enhance styling options

PrivaGuard and MidNite Gray tinted glasses are used extensively in automotive privacy glazing applications for areas not requiring visible light transmission. These products exibit outstanding heat absorbing ability with deep-tinted, neutral gray aesthetics. Being formulation based, these products are ideal in applications where high solar performance uncoated glass is required. PrivaGuard and MidNite Gray are heat treatable in monolithic applications and do not require films or coatings to meet performance requirements. 

Applications

Privacy glass has a broad range of applications in automotive. Used primarily in SUVs and trucks, privacy glass reduces solar thermal load and increases privacy. Guardian's PrivaGuard and MidNite Gray products are also widely used in roof glass applications.
