Overview
Guardian launched the first advanced glass plant of its kind in the Gulf region in 1996 in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia, bringing direct access to high quality float glass to the Middle East. Until that time, the region’s entire glass supply had been imported from Europe, Asia and the U.S. Guardian supported its customers in their own transition from glass traders to fabricators, standing with them and helping customers develop their own business to advance the overall industry. In the last decade Guardian has continued to expand throughout the region, providing high quality float glass and coated glass products from additional manufacturing operations in Egypt and U.A.E.
