Achieving new levels of energy management with low-E glass
When you need energy management glass solutions, consider Guardian ThermaGuard,
a platform of products and services that
enables engineers and designers to fully explore the aesthetic and functional possibilities of glass for commercial refrigeration. ThermaGuard was specifically designed to address two major commercial refrigeration concerns:
- Condensation control - Condensation is a common phenomenon in refrigeration that happens when the exterior glass temperature falls below the condensation temperature for water vapor (dew point). ThermaGuard's low emissivity properties help to increase the outer glass surface temperature thus minimizing the potential for condensation.
- Energy efficiency - When the ambient temperature heats the surface of the interior glass panel of a refrigerator or freezer; then the compressor needs to compensate by working more to cool down the refrigerated unit. ThermaGuard helps to keep the interior temperature low, which results in significant energy efficiency.
