Guardian UltraMirror is the result of our efforts to build the world’s most beautifully reflective and durable mirror. We have developed a process that produces a copper-free mirror that is not only durable and environmentally friendly, it can help a building project achieve LEED certification and be designated a "green" building.

Guardian UltraMirror provides unparalleled protection against corrosion, chemicals, moisture and abrasion while adding beauty and elegance to any room. Additionally, Guardian's manufacturing system ensures greater durability and resistance to rough handling in transport, fabrication and installation.

Time takes its toll on ordinary mirrors. The average ammoniated household cleaner will actually eat away at a standard mirror’s reflective surface, causing black edge corrosion. Humidity and other environmental conditions will degrade appearance and reflective performance over time. Even the mastic adhesives used to install mirrors in vanities and frames can corrode their overall appearance. But Guardian's UltraMirror stands up to these challenges and is backed with a 10-year Limited Warranty – double the industry standard.

Specifications

Guardian's standard mirror and UltraMirror is brilliant silver on clear float glass in thicknesses ranging from 2 mm to 6 mm (1/4"). Other glass thicknesses may be available on request.
Guardian also has the capability of producing colored mirrors by applying the mirror coating onto a colored substrate. Available colors are gray, black, bronze and blue. Check with the factory for sizes and thicknesses.
All Guardian mirrors can be custom fabricated into pattern cuts, beveled or machine ground edges, and with drilled holes.
Guardian mirrors may be laminated with the mirror coatings on the #2 surface. For applications requiring a safety mirror check with the factory.
