Guardian Honored with ‘Excellence in Advertising’ Award
Architectural Record to Award Winners at AIA Convention
May 11, 2015, Auburn Hills, Mich. – Guardian Industries Corp. has received an Honorable Mention in the 2015 Architectural Record “Excellence in Advertising” Awards competition for its integrated online banner campaign promoting the Guardian Glass Visualizer.
The Glass Visualizer is the newest addition to the Glass Analytics suite of tools from Guardian. The Glass Visualizer allows architects and designers to see and evaluate Guardian SunGuard® products under varying lighting conditions on both exterior and interior views. In addition to being integrated into Glass Analytics, a stand alone version of the Glass Visualizer has been added to the guardian.com/commercial website that offers users a summary of product performance information, provides links to order a sample and gives the ability to compare two different products.
Architectural Record will present its 19th annual awards to the winning companies and agencies at a breakfast and panel discussion during the AIA Convention 2015 in Atlanta on May 15.
“Thank you to Architectural Record and its jury of renowned architects for awarding a Guardian SunGuard ad for the fourth straight year,” said Chris Dolan, Director of Marketing, North America, Guardian Industries Corp. “The Guardian Glass Visualizer is all about accurate graphics and appearance. It is great to see the judges found our banner ad just as visually appealing and effective as the tool.”
The award is part of a robust AIA Expo for Guardian, which will include the showcase of many industry-leading Guardian glass products and tools, including the Glass Visualizer. Triple silver Guardian SunGuard® SNX 51/23, the first commercial low-E glass product with visible light transmission (VLT) above 50 percent and a solar heat gain coefficient below 0.25 on clear float glass, will be a headliner at the show, as well as SunGuard Spandrel® HT. Designed for North American building façades, Spandrel HT permanently fuses to the glass surface and has the characteristics of a ceramic frit, with increased uniformity, higher opacity and less potential for streaking with a smooth, matte finish. Guardian InGlass® interior products will also be on display at the show.
